Wire Association International's Poland Chapter Announces XI International Seminar

Częstochowa, Poland - May 18, 2023 - The Wire Association International's Poland Chapter is pleased to announce its XI International Seminar, scheduled to take place on November 23-24, 2023, at the METALURGIA Hotel in Radomsko.

The seminar will bring together experts, professionals, and industry leaders from the wire and steel manufacturing sector to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in the field. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in insightful presentations and panel discussions, fostering knowledge exchange and networking.

Highlights of the Seminar Schedule include:

• Robert J. Glodowski: The Evolving Technology of Steel Rod Manufacturing - A Personal Perspective (Polish version Dr.Rafał Włudzik)
• Tom Moran: A development of a high-carbon wire that could be drawn to ultra high tensile strength 285. This project was a joint effort of National Standard with Southwire, a producer of power transmission cables.
• Jan Krnac: Analysis of possibilities to improve the quality of drawn steel wires intended for the production of needles.
• Coaching (business topic: leasing, business financing)
• Discussion Panel: The condition of the steel industry in the era of political and economic destabilization in the post-Covid period and in the face of war in Ukraine (Subjects: steel, raw materials, delivery, prices, media, photovoltaics, other RES, development prospects, creating new products, innovative economy, corporate social responsibility, industry 4.0, digitization/automation) Moderators: Piotr.Milewski, Adam.Świerczyński, Piotr.Pawlak
