New guy to Forum was created by Archived Forum Admin
I just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself ( tech1 for now ).
This seems to be the only forum I found for wire manufacturing on the net.Pretty good. It's always good to have a source like this in our industry.
Anyone here going to be at the wire show in Georgia on the 16,17,or 18th ?

Welcome Tech1!
I have already read all of your posts and I sure like what I see. The more technical people around to answer questions the better. Hopefully we can turn this Forum into a technical focus known throughout the wire and cable companies in the world. Wouldn't that be great?
Please keep in mind that the questions come from all over the world and many from people who speak little English so often simplicity is the key. In the past year I have seen questions from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australasia. It's just amazing.
I will try to get to the Atlanta show but when you have your own business, chasing business is always the first priority.
Kindest regards,
Peter Stewart-Hay

Thanks for the Kudo's,
It's just very hard for me to hold back on responding to some things. Alot of trade secrets could easily be said here.

Welcome tech1 - glad you enjoy the site. I am the head of the Website Advisory Board for WAI. Please do not be hesitant to offer up suggestions for improvements in your responses as well. I understand your concern for revealing any trade secrets and it is a common problem for any forum group. Obviously there is no clear cut solution to that problem. We have several people who are constantly monitoring the group to ensure there is no blatant advertising or obnoxious behavior and obviously to try to quickly respond to requests for info. Please continue to check up on the site and offer whatever you can, whenever you can. I will be in Atlanta as well. Feel free to stop by and chat (Booth 709).
