Overview of plain bearings
First, the type of sliding bearing
Sliding bearings, Oil Sintered Bronze Bushing are divided according to the direction in which they are subjected to load:
(1) Radial plain bearings, which are mainly subjected to radial loads.
(2) Thrust sliding bearing, which only bears axial load.
Sliding bearings sintered bush manufacturer,PM bronze bushing, power tools bushing can be classified into liquid friction (lubricated) bearings and non-liquid friction (lubricated) bearings in terms of friction (lubrication).
(1) Liquid friction bearing (completely liquid-lubricated bearing) The principle of liquid friction bearing is that there is sufficient lubricating oil between the journal and the friction surface of the bearing bush. The thickness of the lubricating oil is large, and the journal and the bearing surface are completely separated. Therefore, the friction coefficient is small, and the general friction coefficient is 0.001 to 0.008. Since it is always able to maintain a stable liquid lubrication state. This type of bearing is suitable for high speed, high precision and heavy load applications.
(2) bronze wear oval washers ,Non-liquid friction bearings (incompletely liquid-lubricated bearings)
The non-liquid friction bearing relies on a very thin oil film that is adsorbed on the surface of the shaft and the bearing hole. The two friction surfaces cannot be completely separated, and a part of the surface is in direct contact. Therefore, the friction coefficient is large, = 0.05 to 0.5. If the lubricant is completely lost, dry friction will occur. Severe friction, wear, and even gluing damage.
