Drawing CCA (15A) was created by Archived Forum Admin
Hello
We are going to draw CCA (15A) and we have found that this type of material requires narrow reduction angles than those used for copper.
When worked with this material, what die profile must be used (reduction angle, bearing length)?
Thanks a lot

Moderator's Note
CCA (15A) is an acronym for Copper Clad Aluminum. The Class 15A designates that the copper makes up 15% of the cross sectional area of the overall conductor. The Class 15A copper jacket is 25% thicker than the lighter Class 10 CCA.

Thank you
We already contacted Fort Wayne and we are waiting for their response.
Related to the technical papers recommended by you, we ordered a book from the WAI store last week and we have had problems tracking the order. We will wait until we find out the currect status of the book before ordering any new item.
Best regards and thanks for your cooperation
